A TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE

Long before Hill Construction began building the most complex and jaw-dropping projects in the Western United States, Ryan Hill was busy learning the tools that continue to define his trade. His father, Peter Hill, started the company in 1975, specializing in building and remodeling homes along the San Diego coast. From an early age, Ryan developed a passion for construction and remembers the thrill he experienced visiting his father’s jobsites as a child.

After earning a degree in Construction Management, Ryan gained valuable experience working for a top-ten commercial builder for several years. Driven by a passion for residential construction and a genuine love of building homes, he transitioned to owner and president of Hill Construction in 2007, carrying the Hill family tradition forward. Ryan applied his experience in preconstruction, budgeting, strategic planning, and forward-thinking to build the framework for how our firm operates. Our company has grown organically - project by project, loyal employee by loyal employee, referral by referral. Under Ryan’s leadership and guidance, our projects have been in the spotlight year after year, a testament to our team’s strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
